Clara Moreno

Clara Moreno.
A way of seeing.
Valencia, Ayora, Altea and now Villajoyosa. Clara’s journey brings together landscapes and memories that find their place in colour.
Her Mediterranean-inspired work explores mandalas, repeated dots and ornamental geometry. Luminous colours sit alongside deep blacks and open white spaces.
Her visual sensibility is open to African influences, rhythmic patterns and the small variations that give each piece its own character.
Colour, repetition and space
In her paintings, the dot becomes a unit of rhythm. Circular forms open into petals, approach the edge of the canvas or create a dialogue between two pieces. Sometimes colour leads; at other times, the contrast of black and white.
The result is ornamental art that invites you to pause over its details. Mediterranean influences appear in the light and palette, alongside the African influences that inform her visual sensibility.
